A Parasect evolution! suggested I come up with one, so here is my idea. Question: Is the hidden ability too good?
Also, and I want to continue doing fake Pokémon in tandem, based on the same concept. He did a Parasect evo, too! [link]
Parasectid Bug/Grass The Second Host Pokémon Evolves from Parasect after defeating a Caterpie in a battle during which the move Infect* was used. *Infect is a new signature move for the Paras line. It causes the target's moves to be replaced with the user's moves, minus Infect (meaning the target will only have three moves). Ability: Effect Spore/Dry Skin Hidden Ability: Climber (During Intense Sunlight, can only be hit by status and fire moves)
Pokédex 1: Once the bug it inhabits begins to deteriorate, PARASECT takes over the body of CATERPIE and becomes PARASECTID. Pokédex 2: For some reason, once the mushroom is transfered from the old body to CATERPIE, it gains incredible speed.
Yeah, this is kind of a joke ^_^ I appreciate your eye for detail, though!
... I've been playing Pokémon Red for the first time, and a fast Spore user would definitely be like a Wonder Guard Sableye in those games, but it would still be possible to beat one of these things nowadays. Not fun, though.
Superfast Caterpie! I was reading about Cordyceps on Wikipedia and found out that some Chinese athletes once took Caterpillar Cordyceps to increase their speed in a race. So I made this guy super fast!
DD: Aw hell naw. I... I wonder if it's possible for the fungus to like, sprout from humans like it does bugs? Oh God, why did I google image cordycep-infected bugs? Just wait, I'll have fungus-filled nightmares within the week.
Videos are especially creepy. You know the mushroom actually takes over the mind of an insect, and makes it crawl zombie-like towards the best place for the fungus to spread it spores from?
YES! God, I was such a biology nerd in high school. Srsly, I picked up two old Biology textbooks at garage sales for my own personal readings. But there's so much I FORGOT... A couple years out of high school and bam, you forget all this stuff. Actually, I may have blocked it out... I saw an infected grasshopper once fall into the pool, and then some gross worm thing came out of it. It was SCARRING.
The fastest Spore user is Smeargle, with a base speed of 75.

Have I improved it?
